Ive been flat out working on getting my vintage Schumacher collection up to scratch and although alot of my cars are still a way to go I am getting on top of things. I wanted to make the effort in getting them all ready for the annual vintage meeting in a fortnights time. Anyway I have 3 x Cougar2 'Works' cars,1 x Cougar2 'Team', 1 x Cougar2, 3 x Topcat's , 1 x CAT XLS, 1 x Procat and a Bosscat 'Works' and I have another Procat and Cougar to build from new spares. Most cars run full 'works' suspension, Pro Diffs and Transmissions and alloy roller drive shafts.
Also got a handful of bodies to paint also. When Im done I'll repost some fresh pictures of the completed cars.
OH YEAH...AND I RUN THEM ALL! - LOL

Really nice Schumacher collection !
But you have no Cougar I ?
I'm still interrested by a rear Gougar Works tower !

To my side, I have NIB CAT XLS, Pro CAT, Boss CAT, CAT 2000, CAT 2000 EC, CAT 2000 SE, CAT 98, Top CAT, COUGAR, COUGAR II Team, COUGAR II Works, COUGAR 2000, Fire Blade , CAT XLS Red Alloy from PK

If you need parts, we could probably find some trade !

I have enough Cougar 1 spares to build 3 of them. Im just not that much of a fan of the first Cougar. Also have a ,STORM, STORM 2000 truck, Cougar2000, Cougar2000 XPC and a Cougar 95 Team + a mountain of the 2000 series parts.
I still have 2 more Cougar2 'works' rear shock towers. Would you have a spare used alloy rear drive shaft?

I'm just doing something similar, going through, refreshing and rebuilding my cars.

Wow amazing stuff!!

I particularly love the original Schumacher web site, truely top effort guys :)

When and where are the classic model car racing events held? I've never heard of such an event in the uk...... I'd love to have a go!

What about mods, a Cougar 2 mod even used by the factory was to use RC10 wheels, bearings and stub axels - all of the same period - it greatly improved their steering :)

- The Cougar 2 is probably my favourite model car of all time, simple yet very effective - it was only really it's sluggish belt drive system which held in back in an era of limited battery life - still that bomb proof transmission was rock solid in early nitros which were notorious for ripping up transmissions...
