Got this one on ebay last Tuesday and was just delivered by the USPS. It got some nice parts on it and the it just need a little TLC. Here are some shots. The only part that came with it that I am not familiar with i the pair of rear arm mounts and has "0" degrees mark on them. Can anyone please help me here?Image

No, those black ones are molded Robinson. RPM made similar ones, too. They are just like the adjustable ones I have (Robinson), but they are fixed rate rear toe blocks.

Nice find, for sure. Kyosho golds up front with Assoc. hardware, Andy's front and rear bulkheads, A&L steering, Losi stagger block front tires. Super retro. :D That car was the shiz in it's day. I bet it would still kick ass off road, today.

Hey, those are the Buds bullet rear wing mounts I'm looking for. :D

You're right... I was looking at the one with the rounded corners and I didn't look at them both to see they were different.

Are the Kyosho gold as good as the Associated shocks? I have a full set of them laying in my pit box.

I think they were FAR superior to original Associated gold shocks. First thing we did with any off road or dirt oval car is dump the Associated shocks in favor of Kyosho Gold. Later on, there was someone making knock offs of the Kyoshos, too, and they were almost as good, and still better than the Associateds. They were something like $12-$15 a pair, too.

Best part about the Kyosho shocks is that they accept all of the Associated shock hardware and springs with no problems. Rubber bladder, polished chrome shaft, and stupid simple to build. Silky smooth, too. And they NEVER leaked.

I agree, they were and still are the BEST shocks ever made, even today's ones are not as good :!: best thing is that their volume is constant thanks to the rubber cap...

They are really smooth. Too bad I had to take the anodizing off because almost half of the gold was gone. Remember the early KYSHO Red shocks? They even made small ones for the Super Champ and Rough Rider. They were so small , I used it as a key chain. :D

I am in the process of cleaning the parts and I'll be posting pics, maybe tonoght. I was gonna go to the AE sale but I had so many things to do and the travel there is gonna be crazy. It's like almost 40 miles away from me and the traffick is bad.

Really, that's good to know, maybe I will actually use them. :D

I remember you started another topic awhile back for that graphite/worlds front end car and that you were gonna make it a runner. Now it looks too good to use!

Hey, then when that bad boy is up and running we should meet up at a track around here some time (god knows there's plenty) and do some old skool racing :D !!!!!!
