I finally had time to restore an old project, code name: Ultima Pro XL, some parts are still missing (mainly new tires and rims, new body, Kyosho motor...), but I already cleaned it up and polished some parts to bring them back to life...
The car like I received it:

The motor plate and the motor guard have been sandblasted and polished
I bought her a pristine NIP Trinity chassis

Thanks mate, I really worked hard on this one to restore and rebuild it to make it look like new, but Kyosho made (and still makes) so strong and durable buggies it seems they can't never be ready to be trashed

like our beloved RC10 besides...
It's also striking to notice the different engineering work between a Japanese and an American buggy of the same era, though both were as competitive as the other, they use totally different parts, geometry, mecanical concepts... those were the good times of RC history

Kyosho gold Option House shocks have now been cleaned, rebuilt and mounted, it's looking sweeter and sweeter... All I want to do now is gently sandblasting
those stock turnbuckles and make them bling, add 2 graphite saddle pack retainers (holes must still be drilled for that) and find some cool rims, and I may already
got a clue for those

Well, the cleaning and polishing job reached its end and I attached those stock saddle pack retainers...
Any comments are welcome
