Just got my latest Ebay Find? thank god it was cheep!! Lets all just say no to drills! he even ground off the top of the trans an motor plate. Can you say swiss cheese!! how much weight did it really save? the chassis is cracked and he had to add a alumiun plate? I am going to strip it down and weight it with a stock chassis and see.

What's hillarious about this whole car is that all of those "lightning holes" were done to save weight and then when it snapped in half, he used 1/8th inch sheetmetal to bolt the thing back together gain.   "PUT THE DRILL DOWN AND STEP AWAY FROM THE CAR!"

I just put them on the scale and my LXT weight in at 2lbs 7.8 oz swiss cheese 2lbs 4.9 oz so all of that work for 2.9 oz? I dont think thats worth the trouble or the damage to the truck what do you think? If you look at the second picture he sloted the chassis for a strap insted oc the holder I like that idea.

Can you imagine starting to drill the first hole and think to yourself, "Ok, here we go, there's no turning back now!"
