Novak black tape

Post by helbnd1 »

Hey,
does anybody know what type of black tape was used by Novak for holding their esc's and receivers together?
Thanks.

It's buried around here somewhere in a thread, but I guess some folks have used the correct width "pin stripe" tape. I guess if you could find that in a black mylar....
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Just for looks, I used some 6mm Tamiya masking tape that I colored with a Sharpie.

This, I was going to say Frankentruck told me about the 1/4" pinstriping tape for Novak esc's. I picked some up on the amazon.

Tech tip for Vintage Novak Rx.

To reproduce the black sealing tape around Rx all you need is 6mm Tamiya masking tape and black Sharpie.

Not perfect but looks pretty darn good. I’ve done 2 and extremely satisfied with the results.

Excuse me if this has been covered before😅

I have used black electrical tape cut into strips.
