90 Degree Bullet Connectors?

Post by morrisey0 »

Anyone familiar with what these plugs are? Or any real substitute? The male ends are pretty typical bullet connectors, but the female ends are more of a lug with a hole in it. I don't need this particular type, but I am not having much luck finding 90* female connectors at all. I can find a limited amount of 90* adaptors, but those are going to be too bulky when said and done because a waterproof cap covers this whole set up, so space is limited. I really need to find some sort of 90* female plug in three different sizes.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

This sounds like a case where thinking outside the box is going to be the answer. What about audio/video connectors? I don't know what is available there, but it would seem like there's got to be a 90* female of some sort.

What about modifying the male side of things? can you relocate or modify the device to relocate the male side to a better position? Maybe install a wire between device and male to have a flexible union without having to have some special connector?

Ditto... with the Jandy R0512500 harness discontinued, you could try spark plug wire ends, which have conveniently waterproof boots if you need 'em.

Or you could install an eyelet in place of the original lug, pull the rubber isolator off a small clamp and make a DIY electrical band clamp:
