Cheater Stock Motors

Post by Frankentruck »

The tamper resistant, throw away aspect of earlier stock motors was always frustrating. A couple of motors in my collection are from people that must have had the same frustration. One is an older yokomo based build, the other a Speedworks Joel Johnson. The JJ is nicely done with bearings added and a capacitor grounding tab. Both have the screws threaded in the nylon end bell, so they won't likely hold up to very many endbell removals. But they both make me smile at the effort.
