LOSA9922 MIP CVD Question

Hello!
Long time listener, first time caller. I'm embarking on something that's been done to death at this point, an XXT-CR Graphite Plus restoration back to near-NIB specs. But, it's what I grew up with and its in my heart and brain.
I have an odd question about the CVDs included in the G+ kit. What is their correct length? I need to replace the CVDs that came with this project truck, I can see that they are bowed. Referencing the manual, I verified that LOSA9922 is the correct part number for all things G+ MIP CVD. So, I bought a NIP LOSA9922 and.. the dogbones are 3mm too long? Their length does not match what the truck came with. Building a set with the dogbone+axle tied together results in my not being able to insert the ball/pin end of the dogbone into the outdrive slot because the maximum angle of axle and dogbone joint isn't enough when the axle is in the hub.
I noticed on my LOSA9922 package header it says "XX-T, XXXT, XXX-NT", but not "XXT-CR". Is it possible that there is a distinct CR version with the same part number due to the other stack of differences that the CR had? My measurements seem to indicate that the dogbones that came with the G+ are 90mm, and the ones in the 9922 bag I bought are 93mm. Very curious.
Thanks for any help or feedback, and I'm sure I'll be back with more questions (after searching the forum first, of course).
