Hi very new to the world of the RC10 and this forum
I been collecting Tamiya and kyosho and a few others for awhile and decided it was time to get an RC10 for the collection but don't really know what to look for
so saw this and I thought it was worth a shot so wondering if you guys could help me identify this particular model and what's wrong and what's right on it so I can work out if I need to find and replace parts or if cleaning up what's there would be fine not sure if it's all original as it does not seem to look the same as the ones I have seen online so any information pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated and please bare with me as I know little to nothing about these
It was listed as RC10GX and was purchased from Japan but it has different shocks and wing and wings mount steering and wheels then the ones I saw when I googled RC10GX so was unsure what this buggy was other then being a RC10 Graphite 6
Pictures are from the auction so unfortunately I can't post other pics atm until I receive it from japan

Unfortunately

Re check the RC10 timeline at the top of this forum. From what I can tell, you will have a very nice GX 6 gear. From what I can see, it has universals in rear to Yoko TH-1 adapters, with Yoke adapters on front. RPM front bumper and RPM ball cups with carbon front rear shock towers and upgraded steering rack. The shocks have bleeder screws, so might just be the caps. Very clean wing and chassis. Im not sure when it was imported to Japan, but around 1990 with the 6 gear.
GX and SX are the Japan imported versions. Otherwise it would be considered the RC10 graphite. When it has the stealth, it is a Graphite Team Car in states.
Actually, it can be upgraded to stealth with neo vintage rc 3d printed 6 gear case that houses the stealth internals, and using the original screw holes.

Id say you have a really great project! congrats

Someone makes a retrofit that uses rc10b6 internals but can be installed in an unmodified chassis.
