Super Alta – 1/12 2wd electric on-road racer released in 1985. Molded plastic construction with vertical chassis plates. Coil sprung aluminum arm front suspension and adjustable tie rod/bellcrank steering with built in servo saver. Wire wound resistor speed controller and transverse mounted battery with bottom loading access door. Pinion and spur direct drive with bevel gear differential and dead axle rear suspension. Hex mounted nylon wheels/medium foam tires and full bushings. Fully assembled with Mabuchi RS380 motor and clear lexan Porsche 956 body. Also sold as the Buick Stocker (1989), City Turbo II-R (1990), VW Beetle (1990), and 1/10 Mini Cooper w/RS540 motor (1990).
Fantom 4wd EXT – 1/12 4wd electric pan car released in 1986. Chain driven 4wd with flat fiberglass pan chassis and fiberglass upper dampening plate. Twin fiberglass front suspension arms with sliding kingpin magnesium knuckles, aluminum axle with one way bearing front sprocket. Adjustable tie rod direct steering with Kimborough style servo saver. Transverse mounted battery and wire wound resistor speed controller. Magnesium three-piece rear motor pod, direct drive pinion and spur transmission, bevel gear differential w/sprocket, hardened steel axle, aluminum hubs, hex mount nylon wheels/medium foam tires. Partially assembled and available with either a CRC-II or BW SPIDER clear lexan body.
Plazma MkIII - 1/12 2wd electric pan car released in 1987. Flat plate t-bar chassis, aluminum tube front axle with fixed plastic arms, adjustable castor, and sliding pillar front suspension. Adjustable tie rod steering with Kimbrough style servo saver. Black fiberglass upper radio plate with transverse battery mounting. Cast aluminum three piece motor pod, anodized aluminum coilover shock with adjustable collar. Pinion and spur direct drive with bevel gear differential and hardened steel axle shaft. Hex mount nylon wheels with medium compound foam tires. Partially assembled kit with wire wound resistor speed controller and clear lexan body. Sold as a base model KS-2 with black fiberglass chassis plate, red anodized friction shock, Lemans 600E motor and front bushings/rear bearings as well as a Limited Alpha 2 with a carbon fiber chassis plate, gold anodized oil filled shock, and full bearings but no motor.
