RC10T4…..can I adapt the 3-Piece RC10T wheels to it?

Hi Guys,
I’d really like to run the narrow front wheels on a T4 Truck……and I like the idea of not having to glue the tyres on the rims.
Can I adapt the the original (rere) RC10T wheels on a T4 truck? :?:

If your truck has hex front axles you'd need to convert to bearing fronts using:

9581 steering blocks
7456 axles
6299 e-clips

If your truck has bearing front axles the wheels slide right on, no adaptation needed.

I've never glued front or non-drive wheels. Is that really necessary is certain instances?

10T narrow fronts is a cool idea though. As Dangerous mentioned, the original T4 and T4.1 did not come with wheel hexes, they were bearing front and pin rear. It wasn't until the T4.2 when they came with wheel hexes.

100% yes. while they are not a drive wheel the tires will roll to the side and pull off the bead when turning if they are not glued. now the exception is 3 piece beadlock style rims. these do not need glued.

That's what I assumed could happen on a high grip track/surface.

Yes, although if you're using lower power motors you can sometimes get away with not gluing tires, or if the wheels are a bit oversized. I know my JRX Pro with JCRacing 5spokes is actually fine unglued on medium grip turf with a 17.5 motor. but if I run it on the high grip carpet it can start to pull the tries off the wheels.
