If I could say one thing about the 870C, I wish it had sent everyone down and continued the trend of easy serviceability in 4wd. So easy to work on and the part sharing front to back is genius.

If I could say two things about the 870c, it was the first car I ever won a trophy with, 1st place B main, 4 cars started in said main, 2 finished, me in 1st

OMG these photos are 37 years old amazing quality too, i remember waiting patiently for this car after reading the worlds report in all the different magazines we had back then.

Glad you like them. An old RC journalists has sent me his personal photo album from the event so I have really great quality pictures of most of the top cars. An absolute treasure.
