Team Losi XX RetroFit Transmission

In mid-1993 Team Losi released the XX RetroFit transmission for use in their existing line of buggies and trucks. Brought to market prior to the forthcoming XX buggy/truck for which it was named the RetroFit trans would use all the same internals as the kit versions but in a more conventional upright case compared to the laydown style case their new chassis' would utilize. Available in both a 2.19 buggy and 2.61 truck ratio the new three gear design would move the tungsten carbide ball equipped diff with polished locking rings to the bottom of the transmission while the top shaft was machined to accept Losi's Hydra-Drive traction control system. Externally adjustable and outfitted with full bearings the XX RetroFit transmission would also be included in later production JRx Pro SE and LX-T kits.
