Couple pics of the 834b rere. The rear mono shock portion is a bolt on and has adjustable down travel limiters, and is bearing supported. The rear stabilizer bolts to a fairly original looking support but they drilled a couple holes for setscrews. The parts are mostly compatible-ish, but all 4mm holes are now 3mm and the front bulkhead is now 4 screws instead of 2. Just changed enough to not be bolt on compatible. Also I love what they did with the shorty lipo holders, they clip into the stick pack tray. Very smart.
Last pic shows our new chassis and front mono shock mounts

Very cool Jeff and looks much better with natural g10 chassis.

Jeff, does the lower motor cam screw still hang below the bottom of the chassis on the rere? I hated when that mounting hole area on the original would get all ground down and weakened from normal scrapes and jumps. Was there ever a transmission shim to raise the whole thing so that section was just level with the bottom of the chassis?
edit: I double checked your pics, looks like it still does hang down a little, just like the original.....

Yes it does.
The hot trick chassis raises the gearbox slightly so it sits on top of the chassis but not enough to keep it from protruding just a little. I suppose you could double up the spacers that raise it though

Thanks, if I was going to run one today as much as I ran one back then, I'd definitely raise it a little to protect that area a bit better.
