Well how about that. Thanks for posting this up since I hadn't seen it yet. It only took 33 years for me to enter a build.

Boy did I take the surprise outta opening your latest issue or what... I'll have Lowgear change my screenname to SpoilerAlert

33 years? Well, in your defense, some of those parts were hard to find  how long ago did you submit it to RCCA?

I don't subscribe to RCCA, so you didn't spoil anything. I attempted to submit the build a few times back in Nov. of last year, but their website kept crashing when I would click Submit. I tried a few different web browsers on different days to no avail. I tried again at the very end of May this year, and the submit completed successfully. RCCA never notified me that I was selected for the July RROTM.

Here's a little back story on the whole SKUNK thing. Back in Nov of last year I received a random eBay message from emily2907 (user no longer active) who was pissed off that I had a nip Race Prep Chi-Town Hustler stock motor listed at $189."ONE day i will buy some thing and show you how it feels like being R O B B E D, OH now go chahange your pred a tor faCEB OOK PHOTO YOU SK UN K"

I appreciate the kind words. I wish I had enough parts to build two of them, but sadly I sold off the extras over time. One of the hardest parts to source is the actual vintage 90's paint.

I didn't know that RCCA still made paper copies. One of the few.

You're not subscribed to RCCA?!?!? The horror! :P Two months from submission to printing is quick. They generally don't notify anyone ahead of time but you'll be hearing from them soon. You're in the August issue, plus you'll be in the December Gear Guide.

What on earth would prompt a person to say... oh... Facebook.  How dare you commit the crime of offering for sale an object they cannot afford... you Skunk!  :P

I'm shocked paint from the 90's was even useable. That'd be the most impressive part of the build... if it wasn't for the chassis... and the front end... and...
