Greetings everyone!

After exiting RC racing in 2009 and moving into full-size road course cars, I made a return last fall. It all started in 1988 with the discovery of RC Car Action Magazine at my local grocery store. I saved up and bought a Royal Ripper. Later, I stumbled across a hobby shop in McHenry, IL, which had a dirt track in the back. The RC10 Team Car was about to be released, so I saved up again and bought the graphite version (though I should have gone with aluminum). About a year later, I bought the Losi LXT and raced both of these cars throughout high school.

After college, I ended up in Savannah, GA, and started racing again. The XX series was all the rage, and I began with both the buggy and truck, eventually getting the XX-4. For a while, I tried to be different with a Schumacher Fireblade EVO but quickly returned to Losi with the XXX and XXXT. During my time in the Army, I raced off and on until late 2009. During that period, I acquired a giant collection of cars, including JRX-2s, JRXTs, Pro SEs, XX series cars, XXX series cars, original RC10s, team cars, worlds cars, B4s, B44s, lots of Tamiya cars, Schumacher, Yokomo, and a few Hot Bodies cars.

I didn't touch my cars after 2009, but in 2015, I thought I'd give it another go with a 22-4 in Gaithersburg, MD. I made it to the track once. In 2017, I sold almost everything but hung onto the 22-4. I moved back to Georgia in 2020, and a race buddy convinced me to give it another try in the fall of 2024. Since then, I've been back at it with a vengeance, with several Losi, Associated, and Mayako cars. I regret selling my vintage cars and would love to find or build a Team Car, Worlds Car, or XXX.
