Before Tsukuba's R/C designers reveal their latest Buggy rebirth, I want to show you my genuine Dogfighter. Body was brushed in an age, when electric cars acted gas powered models, staged by stickers e.g. Texaco, Bardahl, STP a.o. Motor is made by Mabuchi for Graupner. It is similar to what they made for Tamiya, the Dynatech 01R, including the specific endbell. I wonder myself what is more outdated nowadays...running this (still working a few laps) KR-1300 SC Ni-Cd Sanyo Powerpack [DO NOT FAST CHARGE :-] or the standing of combustion engine powered vehicles in general.

I'll throw in one of my Blitzers.
This one is a mix of original and re-re parts.
- The only mods are Am-Pro upper and lower chassis braces, flipped steering blocks, and HD servo saver. I also used longer ball cups on the steering for more thread engagement (a problem with the re-re rods).
- Electronic consists of a Traxxas mini receiver and XL-1 esc, Futaba servo, and Tamiya BZ motor.
- Body is TBG with Ebay decals (before I knew about MCI). Re-re wheels and front tires, with Schumacher rears.

Silverpan built for Silvercan.
Electronics: Novak GT7 ESC, Core RC Core21 silvercan, Spektrum S6040 Servo, Blue MX Rx
Made some custom 12mm hexes for the rear and used 5/16 bearings in the front to adapter to some Turbo Scorpion rere wheels. Full bearings and just replaced the steering linkage with fan RC turnbuckles and RPM ballcups, otherwise it's a stock buggy. Runs amazing on Astro both wet and dry! Went simple on the paint, actually all done with rattle cans and masking tape, like I would have done back in the day.
My first time giving it a shake down on carpet after the build

RC10 Tekin mid motor conversion
This car was pieced together around the tekin conversion kit from parts I had with the intention of making a light runner around the mid-2000's. A used, trimmed buggy nose plate, old a&l steering bellcrank, and mix and match of new and used buggy parts. Custom homemade kydex front bumper and cut rear carbon tower because this was originally a truck conversion kit. Electronics are a decent 94737 airtronics servo, clean rebuilt reedy 14 turn gold star motor, and lastly a fitting but totally overkill of an esc, a tekin g-11 pro. I remember running just two battery packs through it, once on the street and another on grass at a park a long time ago and thats it. Ran great, but I think I'll let this one continue to live peacefully on the shelf.........

That's an excellent paint job! Appropriate for both 40 years ago and today! This is another of those months when I need more than one vote to give.
The track looks fun!

Thank you! I wish I would have gotten more video of it on the racing on outdoor track but didn't have a way to film at the time.

Wow, very close finish. 4wd entries were very strong in the voting.
Really nice group of entries. Congrats to GrePo for another nice Yokomo entry, 2 months in a row.
