Scored this A-stamp Cadillac today...not sure what to do with it yet...

Answered a FB marketplace ad for a different car, and wound up finding out about this and grabbed it. Still had a NiCad pack and the OG mechanical speed control. Looks to be all original, although it does have bearings instead of bushings. Chassis is a little scraped up, so it's probably a candidate for a runner. Thoughts?

It looks like the nose plate front lip might have been over straightened a bit. It could use a set of nose brace tubes, but overall looks like it would be a nice buggy after a light cleanup. The nose has plenty of scrapes, but the pan doesn't look bad. It could be a fun runner with some new tires.

Luckily, with the CC and 40th cars, new tires are available for the Jellybean wheels.

Although, for an actual runner, I'd probably use cheap (and easy to find) Hornet rear tires.

So I have a 40th with a box art body painted by Andy's and have been looking for electronics. I'm going to put the AE Stock motor from this A stamp in the 40th because it's nearly perfect. Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to put the mechanical ESC in it too, although will most likely go with a Novak.

If I turn this A stamp into a runner, I'll probably get JConcepts 2.2" wheels and tires and a brushless setup. I think it will need a new(er) nose plate though. This one is pretty trashed.

The JConcepts rear wheels are for 3/16" axles, like the re-re Words car and B2/3. Their 1.7 rear wheels and tires fit the 1/4" axles.

JC Racing has 2.2 wheels that fit the 1/4" axles. Just pay attention to which front width you choose. The narrow wheels fit slim tires and have limited options.

Are the JC Racing wheels available in the US, or I have to order them from the UK?

Order from the UK. But shipping is usually fast.

Take a look at their other stuff as well.
