1992 brought the debut of Schumacher's new Bosscat. The gradual evolution of the CAT to the Pro Cat SE gave way to a completely new 4WD buggy. Carbon fiber replaced fiberglass in the new chassis and shock towers, the suspension was redesigned for more adjustability and the crashback system was also updated compared to its predecessor.

To me this represents the ultimate expression of the original series. Although it doesn't share a lot of parts with the CAT, XLS, or Pro CAT, the overall design philosophy was the same. Last of the "pillow ball" CATs.
