Tires with writing on them

I bought a near mint RC10 yesterday. It came with two sets of tires. The set that came in the kit had Associated on the side wall on both the front and rear tires. It appears that these tires have never been used. Are the tires with writing on rare? (I know the Goodyear ones are rare).

They came with a lot of the RC10 kits and got used with many of the kits. Replacement tires were also sold. Rare would probably apply more to condition than to number produced and sold.

I guess Iām asking because I seen more without any writing on them.

The ones in your pic with Team Associated on them are Cadillac tires.

If they really haven't been run, the condition is what makes them rare. It's a really nice find you have there.
