Hi all, just wanted to share my blue carbon fiber shock towers I made today for my A stamp car. I think the blue works well with the gold. Also blue is my favorite color so that’s a thing too. Let me know what you think.Image

They look awesome. Never seen blue flavored carbon fiber before. What did you use to cut them out?

I have a small cnc machine. I just modeled them up in fusion 360, then cut them out of blue carbon fiber 3mm plate.

after 30 meaningful posts (not self promotion posts or "wow, nice car" posts...) you will have access to the buy/sell/trade area and can post these up for sale. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=909

That's a pretty clean looking buggy. What sort of paint job is going with this? The blue is cool but it would be nice to tie it in with some other blue. How thick are your parts? If thicker than OEM, do the ball cups in the steering bell crank area clear during steering and suspension movement?

At the moment I have a box art body, but I plan to paint up a new body to complement the blue carbon and blue steering rack. I’m also looking for a blue JConcepts motor plate but they aren’t exactly easy to get at the moment, but Jason told me they are going to have more available late this year or early next year. Probably throw in a blue case reedy servo and I have a blue old school but new LRP speed control. Once that’s done I’ll work on the body. This is 3mm carbon and doesn’t seem to interfere with anything, but 2.5mm would probably be more suitable. I would have liked to have one more thread engage on the ball studs.
