JC has molded the conversion box I created that uses a B6 ball or gear diff and a DR10/SR10/RB10 slipper. This case will allow the buyer to bolt it right into any RC10 as it has both stealth and 6 gear holes, and will fit either trans brace. Keep an eye on their website for these 8)

I guess I'm holding off on my next order for a little bit till those drop so I can dust off the RC10T.

I want to get my hands on one of these. I would be happy to test it out. Much needed as OG parts are kind of weak.

Will the DR10 diff work in this case or only the b6? Which idler works?

The list on the website has all the part numbers but it's a 26t idler from the B6 series. You can use a dr10/rb10/sr10 diff but they are narrower so you will need about 1mm of shims per side. Unless you already have one it's more expensive to build so it's recommended to just use the B6 diff

What is the length of the top case screw, the one that goes all the way through? I mistakenly assumed the stock screw would fit, but it is slightly too short. Kit screws fit everywhere else, though. Thanks!

Looks like 1 3/16" on my vernier, measured shank only, not the head. This leaves enough thread protruding (into the spur?) to fit a nut if necessary. The black screw in the pic is one I bought from Dubro and is 4/40. I'd just do that and cut it if you have all black screws.
Jeff if you're out there, thank you so much for doing this! They are a bit dear in price, but I placed a big enough order that somehow the price of everything was reduced. Not sure it this is just a volume discount but if others are wary of the cost, play around with the cart contents from JC, there is no shortage of spares. What a time to be alive! M4 threaded universals mean we can finally use common serrated aluminum wheel nuts, and that is just awesome. I never thought I'd see the day we could build a NEW RC10 graphite buggy with all moulded nylon parts. I shudder to think of the total cost, but there it is. Appologies if my photo skills are lacking!

Thank you, it was a long work in progress for me- and I gave the file away so it could be done right. I am not affiliated at all except that he was able to take my work and make it... work
