Hi everyone. I found this looking around for info on the RC10CC mainly. I saw a press release and thought it would be a neat shelf piece so I'm on the preorder list for it. I've got an old Reedy Competition Stock motor and a NER-3FM receiver I found in my old stuff I'll be looking for restoration info on eventually. I thought if I was going to build a car even if I'm not going to really drive it, it should be capable. Especially since I'm really only a ESC away from a period-esque setup for it.

I raced about 1999-2004 and over the time I had many cars. My first car was a Losi Junior 2 (NOT new at the time). By the time I was done with it it was a hodgepodge of old parts and a XX retrofit gearbox. I have no idea what happened to it honestly. Second racer was the B3 below, that's the only one I still have, I bought it late 2001ish. Also I used to buy up cars and lots on eBay, rebuild, clean up, resell, keep some, etc. It's essentially how I funded a lot of this. I know at some point I had complete cars of: multiple gold pan RC10s, including an original that was nearly flawless, RC12L, probably three cars worth of JRX stuff, HPI Micro RS4, Losi XX-4, and an RC10GT. Favorites outside my main buggies being the last two. The GT was just too much investment in ancillary stuff for nitro that I just didn't have, all the starter boxes, glow igniters, etc. I borrowed most of the time I had it. So I moved on from it. The XX-4 no one ever raced around me so I sold it. That was a sweet car though.

Also just saw the Mini JRX2, so I'm going to get one of those very soon and maybe hop it up a bit, get some tires, etc. I have zero interest in racing again, but I think my nephew might get a car and that would be fun to have to drive with him and it will fit in a suitcase to take on a plane. Still easier to get parts too. I've got a few spares for the B3 but I don't want to have to track something rare down from a mishap. I'm sure I'll be posting something in the Losi forum.

Here's my old B3, it's beat to hell from use. I took it down to bare parts and rebuilt it about a year ago. Runs great. I purposely didn't "restore" it as I decided it was a patina of my late teenage years and to leave it alone and that perfect new parts and a flashy new body would take away something from the beat up old worn down parts and the bad paint job.

Welcome! Nice B3..cool you still have a car from the old days. Those mini Jrx2’s take some criticism but they’re cool, little nostalgic buggies that are fun to drive.

Which killer Bs inspired your nickname?
It's just an old baseball reference and I've been using the name for a really long time.

I can never complain about a collection of group B rally cars though. Definitely my favorite group of rally cars.
