I picked this car up a couple years ago now exactly as you see it. Well actually it’s probably a little dirtier now from just sitting on a shelf in the garage.
Since there’s not too many AE parts on this one I figured we could all have a little fun calling out the aftermarket parts and their manufacturer. A little Eye spy with my little eye vintage rc trivia if you will

Anyone notice how short the shocks are, that’s not from it sitting on its weight…. That’s how much they are limited. When you pick it up there’s no droop. It’s setup arms level. I wonder what kind of track this was setup to run on.

Last night while looking at the beat body I received with this car I realized that the side pods are a completely different shape than the Andy’s renegade body that’s currently still available. Makes me wonder which one it is. Too bad it’s not in better condition.

I believe the Renegade Stage 2 is the one he offers now. They fit the Andy's chassis shape. The Renegade was for the rc10 tub shape.

That swiss cheesed transmission brace is trick. Slightly stiffer than a wet piece of cardboard!
