I've been looking for one of these T.M. Racing ST-10 conversions for a few years and as luck would have it, several popped up for sale within about a week.

This one got the full purple Trinity treatment. Along with a fiberglass axle, Pure-Tech battery straps, Technacraft steering links and Pro-Line mounted foams. Electronics include a Tekin 410K, Futaba FP-S132H & FP-R113iP, and Trinity Chris Doseck mod & Pushed P170's.

Very nice as usual.

I could never figure out how the top deck was mounted in the ad car. The section under the arms looks like it's mounted flat to the chassis, but from the servo back to the shock mount it looks like it's raises up.

I wasn't sure either at first. But I used a button head screw through the front brace to hold the antenna/shock mount. And with the front arm spacer washers under the front brace, there's enough room for that button head screw. The chassis hole for that screw isn't countersunk, but that same hole lets you access the button head screw if you need to remove the antenna/shock mount. Raising the front brace also gave enough room for the left Trinity servo mount to slide under so I didn't have to trim it.

I wish I could find some instructions and setup tips for the conversion. The shock setup also had me confused. I just went with the same setup as a Trinity EV10ss with a swaybar that uses a right shock without a spring. Should work good on the shelf.

It's just that in the ad pic there looks to be a standoff under the v-brace, in front of the battery slots, that's too long to fit under there. The brace is straight but seems like it should be bent up after the front arms. When I tried to do that on the ST-10 I had it just made the chassis bend in the other direction. :?

The center shock not having a spring is odd, but I think the side one is okay since there are tweak screws in the t-bar to keep the car centered. Or maybe keep an eye out for one of those Raceway Mfg. tweak adjustment alum bar that mount springs to the rear pivot.
