Anyone else seen or heard that the long wheel base mid is next on the list?, apparently there was a toy fair in Japan resently with kyosho having 1 on display.

I have only heard about the Koswork edition Optima Mid.

I really hope so.
Just like the originals, there are so many ways Kyosho can further develop and expand the re-releases with just a few replaced parts.
So much low hanging fruit if they decided to take it. Let's hope they do.

Yes, I am hoping to be able to build a modern version of the TOMS without resorting to the EXO frame kit.
I was never really into the MID as much as the original optimas, but something about that Turbo Optima Mid Special makes me want one, and only that one.

You don’t like the EXO frame or just want a Kyosho only car?

I’m building a TOMS SE (Sprocket Edition) rere with the EXO frame as a runner. Granted I have an OG TOMS in the que for a rebuild

Just want an all kyosho. Exo is probably the way to go to be honest.

With the resurgence of the re release and exo kits there been a couple of original genuine woven carbon Mid Custom special chassis pop up on Yahoo in Japan, but even they are commanding $140USD, used but still mint condition, apart from the yellow narrow front rims and tires everything else an be gotten easily enough now.
