Hey guys, long time no post on here! I had to check in to share this because it is so cool.

I saw this pop up on BAT and instantly thought RC10. The photo in the comments of the yellow and blue buggy side by side is so cool to see.

that thing is Cool. Thanx for sharing Adam. Awesome piece of racing history. That thing musta took some severe dedication (or incredibly_serious crazies) to drive. Don't even look comfortable to drive down mainstreet let alone through a desert

I got this World's Car when I was 14. I was working at the local hobby shop at the time and when it came out I had to have it. I drove it a LOT. Almost daily for years. Then when I went off to college it got stuck in the closet. Now over 15 years...

I located the original manual and side panels for my Real Racing RC10 tube frames. The sand rails came with two sets of panels, one with a mirror finish and the other a paintable plain beige. I never put them on because I like the open look better....

WHAT? I did not know that this was a production hop-up option. Very nice buggy. Did they ever advertise these or sell many? You have all the fun stuff.

They apparently made 300 according to Asa's (I believe) post about the inscription on the base...

Just picked this up from eBay. I'm pretty sure it was owned and raced by Jay Halsey. I'm surprised no one else bid on it. Probably put the correct 6 gear tranny and milled motor plate and everything else period correct if it's legit. Comments?...

I bought this car last year and it is pretty clean and seems to be un-molested. One of the first things I noticed was it had (I thought) the wrong screw holding the fiberglass battery strap to the cup. I put the car away un-touched and went to work...

Hey Brian, all I can say is judging from the side pics on my Edinger box it does show a silver phillips head screw holding down one side of the battery straps. So I'd say leave it if you're building a true box art buggy.
