best reproduction bodies in 2023?

I'm looking to get a couple of Protech I bodies and wings sets to paint.
I only know of Boki and Team Blue Groove for reproductions bodies. As it appears only Boki has a Protech I Is one better than the other in terms of faithfulness to the original associated one? Is there somewhere else I can be looking for reproductions, or that may have originals for sale?

Which body was sold with the 6001 re issue classic?

Thanks all!

Unfortunately, the original didn't fit great. And the repo's care molded from the original. I had several issues getting mine to fit in an acceptable way.

If you aren't dead set on that particular body, the JConcepts Protector has a similar look to the Protech 2 but fits perfect.

I'm really hoping for a Protech 1 for a gold pan project.

I used one from Boki. It rubbed on the top of the chassis sides and had some twist to it.

I ended up using pieces of decal sheet under the body to protect the paint. I also used the Worlds type (bellcrank) front body post to pull down on that side.

I like the Sabulatech bodies too, they just don't have a Protech.

I agree. The very best re-pop bodies I have came from Sabula Tech and Marwan.
I asked about making the Protech and he said "no".

Bokis are better than penguins and they’re very close to Associated originals dimensions wise… almost identical. These are bokis

I haven't used the exact Penguin bodies being discussed here, but I have their Cougar 2 and Bosscat bodies. Those seem to be reasonably nice.

Thanks for that. Have you used a penguin body? It seems like I'd want to avoid the Boki. I was going to send these to get painted so I want to get the best I can afford.
I have a couple Penguin bodies and they have dimples but otherwise seem fine. I don't have anything from Boki.
If you're set on getting a Protech body, you're limited to those two manufacturers.
