Rc10 6gear 15t pinion

Post by rwordenjr »

Using stock 54t spur with 15t pinion and Trinity 27t stock brushed motor. Should this combo be safe enough for the 6 gear tranny ?

It's probably fine for the transmission. That motor probably isn't going to like it much. If it'll fit, I'd probably use a 13T pinion.

It's easier to get the gear ratio correct with 48 pitch gears, opposed to the original 32 pitch. They are also easier to find.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Okay I’ll get a 13t pinion for it. It’s a Trinity 1987 monster horsepower stock motor. And this car id like to keep 32p since my other rc10s are all 48p stealth’s
