Putting old bodies on modern cars. Lets see them!

Post by RogueIV »

I know I'm not alone in thinking most of the modern bodies out there are way uglier than the classics. Marginally better aerodynamics be damned! Bring sexy back to RC Racing!

Anyway enough ranting, I know some of you have made modern cars look a little more classy. Lets see them!

To start off here's my current project to de ugly my B6.4, no paint yet as I'm waiting for some things to arrive but I've mocked up the body and I already love it.

What is that body from? It is a huge improvement.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

It's for a Yokomo YZ-10. Had to go with a fairly wide body because of how the pan is shaped on the B6.4.

I also run this other body currently, but I have no clue what it's from, supposedly a Losi but not as classic as the other body but at least it isn't cab forward.

That's a great improvement! What bodies did you use? Also Neat mid motor B4, is that a custom job?

Yeah, it´s better than any cab forward body :-)
The B4 is a Centro kit with a truck shock strut at the rear. Body should be B2/B3
The body on the Ultima would be a Optima Pro iirc.

Your post initially got me the idea to make this one. Granted i've had this yz10 body for quite some time just now decided to fit it up.
