RC10 shock cap seal replacement suggestions?

Post by TokyoProf »

I will be getting an RC10 Cadillac, and I was hoping to replace the round nylon/plastic shock cap seals. They don't look clean and stick out a bit too much for my liking.
Cosmetically, I prefer the Edinger look (more hidden) or perhaps you all use a rubber seal without any plastic? Any suggestions for looking good and keeping oil out?

I use the newer style o rings on all of mine.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/223894135343?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=xdS7aXRXSPK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=rUKMRphWSMG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

When you tighten them the first time, you might have to push part of the o ring in with your finger nail.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Just ordered three sets. 350 purchases is a good sign. Thanks!
