Only had maybe 25% tread left on this set of Felony tires, so decided to take it out and kill them today

If I was driving in that parking lot, it would be like the light poles had magnets in them, pulling my car in for a spectacular high speed head on collision. So much open space... except for a few obstacles.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen an R/C car smoke the tires before. I wonder if you soaked a pair in something smoke producing when hot how that would do.

Me too man lol. My Felony is stock, but has so much more speed in it that I can't "use". I just am scared to fully open it up. I like I'm gonna hit a curb or pole or somethig because I just cant deal with the speed these new cars have .

I'm 50 yrs old and I'm an old gearhead from way back. Back in the day, we would do bleach burnouts. Now you have me thinking for a new video. lol hmmmmm

Awesome lot. Looks similar to the lot I use but luckily I only have one light pole obstruction to avoid.

I heard the bleach rumor back in my teenage years but never saw it put into practice. It's actually what I was thinking of while posting. On a whim I decided to Google it, and came across this video:
As the video demonstrates, adding bleach to the mix didn't make much of a difference. Here's the thing though, the test was based around modern tires. Back in the old hot rodding days when it was supposedly done, it was likely with bias ply tires that were of a different rubber composition.

The Aussies really know how to make "tyres" smoke.

So true! A few buddies and I used to fly over a lot with 2 light poles. They probably accounted for 0.00001% of the air space over the lot, but we hit them regularly.
