Has anyone done a mid motor conversion on the T or T2? I couldn't find a thread.

Scr8p built a mid t2 for vonats. It was a carpet buggy, converted to a truck.

A mid T you can do the same thing, and the process is the as would be for a buggy.

scr8p probably just makes it look easy. There's trans flip, new gbx case hole and then top shaft flip, move bulkhead and shock tower, new body mount location and maybe using the RC10GT or T5M body.

He defiantly makes it look too easy, I wish I checked it out when I was at the VONATS.

Yeah, there's more to it than just flipping the trans. Especially when you're trying to make it all fit and function properly under a particular body.

The other / easyer approch would be using the RC10GT as a base for an electric conversion. There are parts available for that and it already is a mid motor setup.

Very true. If you were keeping it a truck, it's a matter of a dynotech motor plate, some battery trays of some type, and some creative bracing and you are on the way.
