I have this handy looking little brush cutter setup but haven't been able to find any source of uncut brushes to experiment with. Anyone know where I could find some?

I have two of those, with different grade cutters. I mainly use them for reshaping used brushes.

For making serrations and cross-cuts, I have a Integy cutter. It looks nearly identical to the old Trinity tool.

Anyway. Are you looking for completely uncut brushes? Or some with just basic contours?

I use a lot of these in motors with upright brushes.

I was hoping for completely uncut brushes, so I could go either stand up or laydown.

I'm not aware of any uncut brushes.

The Yeah Racing set is priced well, considering that it includes springs. Integy has several budget priced options as well, particularly laydowns.

Here are mine. You can see that I have different cutters in them.

I use the coarse stone for touch-ups and the fine cutter when putting used brushes on a fresh cut comm.
This is the Integy cutter. It does serrations and all kinds of cross cuts.

Those top styles are brush serrations, they just "restore" brushes by making them round and removing the burnt tips.

That integy cutter is a good piece of gear, looks almost identical to the Trinity unit. They are great for everything, cutting cooling slots, making timed brushes to increase motor timing. Only thing all of those lack is a drill jig to drill a cavity in the brush.

The trick if anyone remembers, was to use Prolong as brush drops, and stuffing the hole with cotton and a few drops of prolong.
