Ronbo Cliff Lett Modern runner
I had planned on running this https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=39576&p=505804&hilit=ronbo#p505804 after collecting some modern parts along the way. In the spirit of this JConcepts article here and on their website https://www.jconcepts.net/garage/projects/2017-cliff-lett-rc10t-build, I figured an A & L Factory Works version would be cool to do. I do have the JConcepts steering rack and diamond tubes they are releasing on order just because, but will be mostly A&L. I already had a spare Cliff Lett body painted when i did the original, so its ready for install. Power will be the Reedy 14T triple and I plan on trying the Spektrum esc and RX combo and see how that works. Going to use black parts, some that come with the truck when i bought it and others that i had bought originally in 94 or so for my truck BITD. Should be a quick conversion, since Im not restoring it, just changing parts. Should go well with my T4.2

Re: Ronbo Cliff Lett Modern runner
Got the truck mostly done today, still need some unflanged bearings to get these shiny MIP 1/4" universals to fit. Put together the AVID RC driveshaft and T4 era slipper, here it is with my T4.2. Put on V2 threaded shocks, finally put new Mr A Ultra decals on 14T triple. Going to try the 'new' rear arms circa 1995 from the sticker I have along with the new shock mounts for more ground clearance(?). Still need to program esc/rx combo and apply the chassis protector and get new tires for Tacoma RC raceway track.

Is it the picture angle, or is that servo huge?
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Its an Airtronics 94162z MG hi torque (115-144oz) servo. Yeah, the top case compared to a 94102 std servo is about 1/8" longer at top when comparing the at the servo mount. So far makes a great replica of the original, at least as close as Im going to take it....

With the new ReRe kit in my hands, Ive decided to convert it to these new parts shown in this thread. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=569227#p569227
