Quite a thorough redesign of the front piece and drew up some shock towers , then i had to redesign the shock towers because the dog bones would be obstructed

Just realised that for added silliness it could be 4wd twin motor

not going that way though .I'm kind of undecided on the rear suspension , originally i was going to mod the rear suspension to have steering hubs but moved onto using the front trailing arms , again my original plan was to use the front trailing arms at the rear but it might be a bit much cosmetically to use them both ends ?

More silliness
Not sure I like the Samurai rear arms ,the chassis needs to be wider at the rear and not so long although the wheelbase will be longer than shown as I just used existing holes to mount it up the rear suspension for now .Still hoping to find an SRB front suspension set for a reasonable price to use at the rear , there's usually one or two on eBay for 25-35 quid but typically not right now

Depending where battery weight gets placed, this looks like it might be able to do endos/stoppies at will.

Looking sufficiently silly. Don't forget to reverse the motor rotation.

@Dadio , not sure why you call this a stupid idea!!
It's great work... Looking forward for next steps and a stoppie video

Thanks guys , the more i look at it the more I think it needs another front end set of suspension for the rear , I'm just not digging the plastic rear arms .

This had stalled because I just could not love the plastic rear end soooo...
Feeling the love again

If your steering setup isn't complete yet, this seems like a natural build to have a 2 servo steering setup, one for each wheel, connected with a Y harness. Just a thought.

I'm planning on quite a compact setup but I can see what you mean , I can just fit a bell crank and wrack setup .

modelled up a test piece for mounting the trailing arms , quite tricky as the axle is 70 degrees angled from the pivot pin and the pin is 5 degrees angled from the chassis , I also gave it 0.5 degree toe in on each rear wheel , not sure if I'll fit it to the stock chassis or cut a whole chassis plate . Also did some minor changes to the steering that nobody would notice except they are now black , I'm really tempted (mostly because I want to have go ) to try electro plate some of the plastic bits with nickel so they match the suspension better , I've already ordered a pair of Optima steering knuckles and I'm thinking of suitable shocks .
