my name is Pat and I live on the south-side of Chicago.
I have been into RC cars since 1987 . Purchased a slightly used Tamiya Blackfoot when I was a kid . Then my first kit : ) an RC10 ! Had a great time racing my old buggy back in the late 80’s and early 90’s . Shortly after acquiring my RC10 I made a trade with a neighborhood kid who had a box full of junk rc cars . I traded an aftermarket lexan Blackfoot body and a set of tires for the box . The box contained an incomplete Kyosho Optima , a gold tub and a complete Turbo Optima Mid SE ! (after a rebuild) I loved that short wheelbase optima mid . Won its fair share of club races off-road and dirt oval ! I still have my old RC10 and my Blackfoot . I sold my Optima Mid on Ebay years ago BIG mistake !
I’m interested in getting back into racing RC again .
