My B3 project

This is my B3 that I recently picked up. Carbon Fiber composite chassis, front and rear arms, carbon fiber shock towers. The chassis is brand new, and I want to keep it that way, so I used some carbon fiber vinyl as a protector. Still haven't decided on a body yet. I'm not a huge fan of the big window buggy, so I'm looking for more options.

I never really paid much attention to how big the B2 and B3 windows are, those are huge.

At least if you do decide to use an original style body, JConcepts makes both of them.

Right now, I'm kinda leaning towards a B4.1 body, if I can make it fit. I have the short chassis, so there would be a bit of trimming to make it fit, I think.

Maybe I'm the one who's crazy but I've always liked the B2/3's styling. Kyosho must have like them as well since they cloned them.

Anyway, I seem to recall test fitting a B4 body a while back and determined that with a little creative trimming, it will fit the B2/3 chassis.
The B4 looks good.

Well... it's a runner. I stuffed a Reedy 3300kv brushless setup from a DR10 in it, and was able to drive it around the yard today. What an absolute joy to drive! I haven't glued the rear tires yet, when I get the body painted, I want to take some nice pics of it, and just in case I make a mess of gluing the tires, I want to hold off. I had some Losi XXXNT tires laying around that were glued, so I tossed them on... set at about 5-6, the B3 is controllable and easy to handle, set it to 8, and you've got to be extremely light on the throttle or it'll backflip. I have to say... the BIGS and littles look is kinda growing on me...
