This is a long term project. It has actually been sitting mocked up in semi-complete form for a while. I had to partially disassemble it to fix some things, so I took a few pics.
The basic lowdown:
- B stamp pan with shortened truck nose plate and bulkhead. JConcepts honeycomb motor plate and wing tubes.
- Dynotech front arms and Andy's rears, with Factory Works towers.
- Stealth transmission with a T4 shaft and slipper. Titanium dogbones.
- JConcepts bellcranks and a Futaba S132.
- Associated MT10 big bore shock bodies with shorter shafts and buggy springs. B5 spring cups.
- JConcepts from wheels and Traxxas rears, with Schumacher full spikes.
- Tamiya Super Stock TZ, 23T motor (it matches).
- JConcepts Worlds Dominator body, cleared to fit the RPM/truck front end. Andy's front bumper.

Will this sweet buggy get to see some run time, or will it strictly be shelf eye candy?

Its original intent was to be my "nicer" runner. Then as usual, things got out of hand. This car was sitting around and I needed parts for other projects, then they got replaced with better ones. But I do still intend on running it.
And while none of my cars see a lot of run time, I'd probably only consider one or two to be shelf cars. And even that is subject to change.

While I was at it, I decided to go ahead and mount the electronics and wire it up.
I went with a Novak Polaris receiver and Hobbywing 1080 esc. I swapped out the original XT60 connector for a EC3 and crimped some bullets on.
Made some new motor leads as well. I prefer for them to come from behind.

I really like what you did with mounting the rear tower on standoffs to get it in front of the big bore shocks.

Are the front arms the same length as the rpm 91 worlds arms ?

Yes.
They are square cut, so I had to slightly round off a couple edges.
They have rears that are 91 Worlds length as well.

I can't claim the idea. I seen it on some other cars here.
Otherwise, the shocks would have to be at a foreword angle.

Finally got a little paint on this one. The primary color is Tamiya brilliant blue with Duratrax metallic black and silver streak.
I also did some mixing of modern and vintage decals, seemed appropriate.
I still need to add some velcro for the front body mounts but I'll give the paint some more time to cure.
