This has bin on the slow burn to say the least…
I think I’ve figured out what path to go down.
A pre B4 graphite car with .89’ front shocks and stealth transmission in Worlds car black and white plastics kind of way. Need to dye the rear arms black, cut new shock towers in graphite or black GRP. Front tower might have to be a tad higher as original is designed for .71’ shocks.

Shock caps are not what I was after, but is what I had at hand.

I made a pair of spacers for the steering rack. Manual says to stack two AE 8-32 nylon nuts, but I wanted something prettier. Also alot of cutting on the bellcranks for the application.
As I’m using 1.18” rear shocks instead of 1.32” I made a new lower rear shock tower.
I wanted to check if the height of the front shock tower was enough for the .89” shocks. So I laid out the -91 Stealth tower that uses 1.02” shocks. The B2 shock tower that uses the .89” shocks and the Neo vintage RC tower that is designed for .71” shocks. Shows that I do not need to extend the length of the of the front tower to accommodate the .98” shocks.

Waiting on flanged bearings for the steering rack, Kyosho king pin bushings OT212 for the uprights, B4 slipper hub and spring.

Chassis is starting to look good..

I had to redesign the front shock tower.
Now it’s more B4 style.
Caster- and steering blocks are held together with Kyosho OT212 king pin bushing set.
Steering bellcrank mounted with the aluminum spacers I made earlier.
And the B4 slipper assembly is mounted to the top shaft.
