My little brushed motors collection is growing up, nothing special but recently I've made some additions and I'm considering to store them properly. What do you use for keeping your motors in order?

This is a good question and it does depend on a few factors really. What kind of a condition are your motors in and how have they been stored previously?
Will you be getting them rebuilt and the magnets addressed prior to storage and will you be potentially using them in the future?
I guess what I am asking is are you looking for display solutions or are you hoping to preserve the magnets and hence motor performance?
Over the past 18months or so i have had quite a number of my old motors rebuilt, including getting the magnets zapped and the poles re-aligned. The latter seems to be affected by how these old motors have previously been stored (touching one another), as well as how they were run (such as with a lot of advance). Most if not all of the motors I have had rebuilt had the magnetic poles out of alignment which needed to be addressed.
Admittedly, my collection has gotten out of hand a little, but as a result we have built a storage shelf which holds the motors away from one another in all directions, with the intention being to prevent them interfering with one another magnetically whilst in storage. Some will argue this makes no difference, others may disagree.

Your collection is impressive and the way you display it is incredible.
I'm going to refresh my motors and store them to keep them ready to use.
To be honest I was thinking of a Plano stile plastic box or single "tubes" not to a amazing display like yours.

I've got a couple cases full, in addition to the ones in cars.

.... my collection has gotten out of hand a little .....
There it is, folks..... winner for 2021's "Understatement of the Year"
Seriously, that's a heck of a collection..... and a much better way to store them than my "piled in a box" method

Here's a little display I've mocked up to go in my glass cabinets (once the room is decorated

)
Fairly cheap perspex display shelving & perspex stands.

I use a similar setup as winner_evo.
Use zippo lighter stands for the motors, pretty sure I paid around $25 AUD for 45 of them.

Yeah, that's exactly what mine are, I got 30 for £13.

I am not a motor collector at all, and have just started holding on to them more and more. I have found that a good ol' 540 fits well into my typical cheap storage boxes that I use for pretty much all my RC small parts storage. For about $6-7 each, these bins work pretty well.

I store my motors on the back of my buggies. You can just barely see it peeking out in the photo below.

That would be an expensive proposition for me. I have a display shelf and two boxes full of motors, not counting the 30+ in my cars.

This, I would need about 50 more buggies/trucks to store them all
