They look very much like the ones CRP used for their frog front shock kit.
I bought a set from you so I'll get a better idea of what they are when they arrive.

I think you are correct or they are repro versions.

hello All,
Those are Bolink shocks that were used for the eliminator series. They were selling a bunch of them on eby a couple years ago.

CRP and Bolink both sold shocks just like that. I had a pair on the front of a "lowered" RC10 for carpet racing in like 1985, and the Bolink RC10 lowering kit included those.

These are a little bit better than the CRP shocks because the CRP versions had a fixed plastic piece on the bottom. The Bolink version has a threaded shock shaft which allows you to remove the bottom spring retainer.
In addition, the CRP collars were made of red plastic which cracked easily, the Bolink uses a aluminum collar.
The bodies and the brass shock cartridge are pretty much identical.

Bolink made gold ones that were standard on the Eliminator Gold version. The other colors look really nice!!
best of luck selling those.

Where could the colored ones have come from?

The front shocks I have on my frog are the first generation ones CRP sold. Later on they came out with the red plastic collared ones. Bolink did infact sell these dampers also. I have a grashopper rear suspension hop up kit that included these same dampers. Now who made them is anybodies guess. I have seen where both CRP and RCH sold a few parts that were identical. I believe it was this way with S&K and Andy's. I would imagine that many of the vintage aftermarket companies bought their parts from a handful of suppliers.
These shocks will work killer on the rear of an SRB but you would need to have a bit longer damper for the front.

Not sure where they came from...but they look really nice.
In addition, I agree with shodog regarding the way manufacturers sell the same stuff. If I remember correctly, didn't parma also sell a hornet/grasshopper front suspension kit that used the same shocks? Parma later swithched to the blue anodized shocks.

weren't the blue parma shocks and accessories rebadged "you-G" products?

Parma had 2 types of blue shocks. One was more of a torquoise color like the ones found on today's cars. The other blue was a bit darker and not as transparent.
The you-g products were all over the board. I have had 3 sets of front blue shocks for my hornet (parma, panda, trinity) and they were all identical. The you-g stuff was sold as an aftermarket hop-up by numerous companies and installed on many cars (look at the Mugen MANX, Panda Cyclone).
You G also had gold anodized versions as well.
