Tires?!

Working on building up my stock to rebuild and run my car from back in the day....an original CC Predator Lynx (not a TRC/CC LynxII), apologies for the non-Associated reference in this board, just figured the On-Road section was best for the topic. The search for car, parts, electrics and motors has been going pretty good.....thanks to a few great members here by the way! Now the time has come to start sourcing tires. I certainly am not now or ever was one to glue and true my own....batteries and motors were more my speciality and TRC full sets always got the job done. After lots of searching it seems that Johns/BSR are the only ones offering compatible vintage pan car tires and compound options for those of us looking to run on a regular basis. Any thoughts, experiences or suggestions about BSR tires or other options available would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any responses! So far, all I've got to run with are these. :D

Keep and gather up vintage rims..... then make your own tires....

I have BSR wheels and tires on a couple cars. They were available and reasonably priced, which fit my needs.

Also check CRC. They have foams but the RT1 tires look awesome.

RJ Speed legend wheels and tires will fit and work fine. Probably the most affordable. For a runner you might look at the CRC rubber tires, they are life changing. If you have old wheels kicking around, check with gone bananas racing skinz (on Facebook) they will mount up fresh foams and true them for you.

The BSR spec tires are cheaper than Legends tires. Like $30 for all four wheels and tires.
