Well, I’ve been quietly sitting on the sidelines, researching all the good info from this board for long enough…figured it was time I made my first actual post….now that I’ve actually got something worth posting…lol! I’d like to give a solid heartfelt thank you to the admins and the members of this board…I thought I was crazy, boring friends with tales of little cars every now and again, from the good old days, for years, gear ratios to tire diameters, battery charging cycles, single winds vs. doubles, triples and quads rattling around in my head..…turns out, I just needed to find rc10talk…and start buying some gear…lol! I’d also like to give a very special thanks to members, RC10resto (Brian) for reconnecting me with probably one of the last remaining nib examples of my holy grail car from back in the ‘80’s and Mark Westerfield for the best/only Novak 410-M1c I’ve seen in a long time! Seems, the best part about getting back into the vintage part of this sport has been meeting solid people that share the same passion. I know, I know…. enough with the pleasantries……on to the goodies I’ve accumulated for my runner so far! See some pics below. The old pic is my original car from ’87, all the rest are recent finds. Really looking forward to learning/relearning more from the group in the future. Thanks for letting me join! FYI-My car is a 1st gen Composite Craft Predator Lynx roller for spares and a 2nd gen Composite Craft Predator Lynx (nib). Bit of history=Bob “Bullet” Light won the 1987 1/10th On-Road Championship & the 1988 1/10th On-Road U.S. Nationals with the Lynx.
