I probably received these around 20 years ago, I didn’t buy them new I got them with a cars and parts lot. I never looked into them at the time and until recently completely forgot I had them. They are extremely light, as in their nylon counterparts would be heavier in your hand.

Thanks RC10resto, looks like you're spot on!
You have any idea when they were first produced and for how long? Looks like from what I’ve found so far that they eventually switched over to a universal design for the wheels themselves and offered different hubs to adapt them to different vehicles.

Hard to find very much info, but here is their 11/1987 Catalog with a lot of good stuff;

I’d really like to get a set of period tires for these wheels, any suggestions ? Looks like both the rears and fronts are 1.7

That wheel style is yomoko 834b, for mounting tires.

This is from the mini-mags catalog that RC10resto linked.

In the figure it shows to cut off the bead seat, stating tamiya and proline tires to be trimmed with hot shot tires being the exception.

@MarkyDents, did you ever get tires for these?
I'm trying to get the 5 bean version of these Mini-Mags reproduced, would you mind if I used your excellent pics to show the machinist how it was done? Can I also use your pics for reference in my, RC Corvette The Dead Pool thread?
Those rims are sweet!

I never did get tires for them, I do still have the wheels and they are accessible if need be.
Terribly nice of you to ask about the pics, please use them however you like.
Let me know if any other dimensions could help.

Thank you so much,
@MarkyDents! This just made the repro project possible! I'll see about what foam tires we can get to fit these dimensions, once they're back from machining.
Can't thank you enough for this, don't know where else I would've ever found those accurate measurements! Sending your pics off right now to D-Hawk!
