Hi, new member here. I have always been into rc since a little kid. At about 13 or so I traded for a Radio Shack Golden Arrow and drove the wheels off it. It made it with me through moving across country and came out every so often for a drive. In about 2007 I let a friend drive it and he curbed it stripping the transmission so I put it away. About five years ago I traded for an HPI RS4 on road and also a MT2 to get back into rc. I wanted to get the GA back running and found out it shares a lot of components with a Traxxas Cat buggy and down the rabbit hole I went with about fifty models. Some are old toy grade I modernized or restored. Now I am full on old rc with Traxxas, Tamiya and now AE. I have one new model, an Arrma Big Rock that is a killer truck.
