My first (real) RC car was The Frog. I really enjoyed that except I kept burning out the differentials no matter how good I built it up. I eventually switched over to posi-traction on it using the Subaru Brat parts. My cousin got an RC10 when I was about 17 and I really liked it. Fast forward to 1995 is I had a couple RC10, then around 2003 I decided to get the RC10GT's which I really enjoyed. A long series of events took place which ended up boxing these in my garage.
A few months back I figured I'd look at rebuilding all of them back to their glory (as I have both the time and money to do it) and then I round out this series is no longer made. I have yet to find a non TLDR reason. I'm sure it's burred in the forums some where. If someone has a link that would be awesome.
So I'm at that juncture where I can either restore these or move onto a different version and sell the ones I have.
I had a lot of fun with these in the past.

Re: Hello from Vacaville, California
I have 2 complete RC10GT's with the upgraded chassis, 1 complete RC10, and 1 mostly completed but missing the front suspension, a few shells, and lots of tires (I can't remember where I got them all at).
I might just try to strip the 2 GT's down this weekend and clean them up. Ironically the batters in the Futaba 4 channel remotes still have charges. The last time I turned these on were probably 2008,
Now I just have to figure out if I should sell them an use the proceeds to pickup a current gen comparable one or just restore these.
