Would any of you know if a brushless sidewinder sport be to much for the stock transmission of a rere TOPCAT to handle? I am an utter newb when it comes to brushless and want to ask those with more smarts

I just built one, tighten the belt fully and it should handle it. I bought the last pro tranny available currently. Great tho.

I had to google where Energy Illinois was...I’d never heard of it. LOL
Looks like we’re going to tighten the belt and give it a go.

Was just searching the webz for a Topcat. Even though I picked up a rere XLS right before they discontinued, kinda wish I also would've got a Topcat too. The old Schumacher's are just hands down cool as beans.
I also had to google Energy. Whenever I hear of a town in the ol' land of Lincoln that's new to me, I can pretty much safely say it's south of Bloomington.

The further away from Chicago the better.
I'll have to scoop up a well used Topcat if I ever come across one.
