I have an vintage RC10 T Gold pan that I'd like to put back on the road- but the arms are awfully crispy is there a source for new up graded(?) arms? or is it gonna remain a shelf queen?

You say a 10T, which is a truck and a gold pan, which is a buggy. Which is it?
Anyway, new re-re buggy arms are still out there. However, they are starting to bring premium prices.
3D printed arms are another option. There are quite a few options, but they wouldn't be quite as strong as original nylon pieces were.
Converting to the Klein arm setup may be a bit more than you are asking for.
Or, you could try rehydrating your original nylon. The process would be similar to dying them but with water.

Maybe he said gold pan because the 10T uses the same chassis?
Regardless... You should be able to find arms for both the 10 and 10T on ebay for varying amounts of $$$ as they pop up pretty often.
The other option as already mentioned is to get 3D printed parts but my personal opinion is that even they arent priced the cheapest and definitely break easier (but are always available)

I also considered a truck conversion that used wide offset wheels but was still basically a short arm buggy.

I have never owned an Associated truck but it looks like this is an option.

you can search RC10GT arms on ebay. They are the same. Right now I only found aluminum ones.
