Looking for suggestions for some aftermarket shocks for a rustler or bandit. There doesn't seem to be anything between the no-name Chinesium garbage and the grotesquely overpriced Traxxas parts.

pends what you want .. some of the generic shocks are actually quite nice for ~40 a set on ebay 'but' .. parts support/tuning parts are non-existent and the shafts are generally regular steel and will require regular polishing to keep them from seeping with alot of usage .. but for a model that doesnt get run much hey, that might be just the ticket .. but proline makes decent shocks with full support and tuning parts support but theyre pricey .. or if you know the length you can work with, you could probably pick up late production losi or associated shocks used to ...

Traxxas hard anodized shocks with titanium coated shafts are $30 or less a pair. If that is too expensive I would stick with the plastics. You won’t find a better quality shock imo for that price. The cheap threaded eBay/amazon shocks are garbage.
